Ever since she ran for the Green Party in seventh grade, Gleeson has been passionate about creating sustainable and equitable energy systems that can accelerate human development. Prior to joining Future 500, she spent six years at Chevron working to strengthen relationships between the company and its stakeholders, in environments as varied as Capitol Hill and the refinery gate.
Having lived in six U.S. States and two countries, Gleeson loves the puzzle of translating concepts across languages and registers. She loves digging down to the core of an idea to truly understand it, and then finding a way to articulate it clearly and compassionately. She’s an expert at building bridges and walking the line between patience and progress.
Gleeson holds a B.S. in Business and Public Policy from Wharton and a B.A. in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. With experience in public policy, oil and gas, stakeholder engagement, and carbon capture, she is enthusiastic about tackling the emerging issues of the day in order to drive positive change.
Gleeson lives in Houston, TX, where on the weekends she gives tours of the Beer Can House (google it) and makes art out of discarded aluminum can tabs.
