CAN In-Person: Corporate Working Group

  • Austin, TX United States (map)

Future 500's next in-person Corporate Working Group. We will convene in Austin, Texas, this September 26-27. We are finalizing logistical details, which we will share in the coming weeks.  Contact or VP, Brendon Steele for registration information: bsteele@future500.org.

Our team will present findings from several recent stakeholder research projects related to the circular economy, chemicals management, environmental justice, and environmental disclosures. And we have confirmed the following three advocacy leaders to speak with us, as always, under Chatham House Rule:

  • Lourdes Rodriguez, CEO of the David Rockefeller Fund, who will outline her strategy and goals for climate philanthropy, including on environmental justice, corporate change, post-election plans, and how she incorporates love (yes, love!) into her mission.

  • Michelle Diggs, Director of Environmental Justice at 3M, will be speaking about operationalizing EJ across the enterprise in the face of recent legal settlements, including to pay for cleaning up PFAS-related pollution. For those who have met Michelle before, you know she is an insightful, thoughtful, and humble leader, and we're honored to have her.

  • Amy Larkin, Founder of PR3, author, and former Greenpeace campaigner, will discuss collaboration and hope to advance the circular economy, sharing case examples of how corporations and campaigners have come together to tackle global challenges on waste, and opportunities to do so now.
